Women’s Distance Festival

The last Saturday of June, Southern Colorado Runners hosts a women’s only event to promote running, fitness and comraderie for women in our community.  The 5-km walk or run starts on the south side of Lake Minnequa.  Paticipants enjoy the wide soft surface trail circling Lake Minnequa with lots of green vegetation and birds keeping them company.  This is a great opportunity for a mother-daughter run or a group of women to get together for a nice morning run or walk!
