The Romp was a festive gathering on a nippy but pleasant morning–17 degrees, clear, sunny skies and no wind. The course on Pueblo’s south side was roughly a fifty-fifty split between residential streets with some icy patches, and snow-covered trails with rolling hills. A tasty, bountiful feast in a brightly decorated holiday setting followed the run.

Runners predicted their own finishing time prior to the start of the race and were not not allowed to wear watches during the run. The runner finishing closest to his/her predicted time was the winner.
