The course started and finished at Franklin Elementary and wended its way through the tree-shaded and sometimes hilly streets of Belmont. The wind was an added challenge. The post-predict potluck featured great food and lots of lively chitchat.

Runners predicted their own finishing time prior to the start of the race and were not allowed to wear watches during the run. The runner finishing closest to his/her predicted time was the winner.
