Valentines Predict Race

Hello,
After a one week delay caused by polar air we held the Valentine Predict Race at City Park. There was still ice patches but we worked through it. A total of 23 members and 4 guests participated in the real run and 19 members did the virtual option. Two of our guests were Dave and Erin Taylor, world ranked race walkers from New York State. The race was a partner race and the winners of sweet treats were teams (Shad & Cassie Pate) (Tom & Hollie Brosseau) and (Joe Brosseau & Marijane Martinez). This was a shorter race but teams were required to pass a baton to the other team member somewhere on the course as they ran in opposite directions and no one got off course.
Next Saturday will be the SpringRunOff practice at Dutch Clark but it is predicted to snow again 
on Wednesday so stay tuned for changes. Results are posted below.
