2024 Peaks and Prairies

Hello Runners/Walkers,

This month we gathered at the home of Robert and Rebecca for their Peaks and Prairies Raffle Run.  The course had a 5k run and 2 mile walk for the participants.  As the town keeps growing the course changes and I can’t help thinking that the dirt road on the prairie will probably be gone someday.  We had a total of 35 members and guests participate for a good turnout.  Unfortunately, one of our members Janique Holbrook tripped and suffered a significant injury but is expected to fully recover.  Ken Hughes supplied the mimosas and there were plenty of members enjoying the drink.  I did not write down who won the raffle prize and now I don’t remember who won.
