Here are a few SCR Updates…Our next Raffle Run will be…
Choose Your Own Adventure Raffle & Potluck
Hope to see you next weekend at the “Choose Your Own Adventure” Raffle Run, hosted by Sean & Jitka McGivney. This unique run will let you pick your own distance. All runners will do a 4 mile loop first, then you may stop or continue. If you continue, you may do an additional loop of 1.5, 2 or 3.5 miles, for a total of 4, 5.5, 6, or 7.5M.
Choose Your Own Adventure Raffle Run
- When: Sunday, May 17, 2026, 7:30 a.m.
- Location: 1117 Candytuft Blvd
- Distance: Walk 1.5 or 2 miles, Run 4, 5.5, 6 or 7.5 mile
- Host: Sean & Jitka McGivney
- BYOC: Bring a chair, we sometimes don’t have enough
- After the run/walk they invite everyone to stick around for a potluck.
If you’re looking for a run on Memorial Day and you can’t make it to Boulder you have a couple of local options.
First,

Ted Sillox has reserved the stone pavilion building at Pueblo Mtn Park (near the Lodge) in Beulah for our annual SCR Summer-Brunch-Picnic-Run-Walk. Free Breakfast Burritos and fruit. Save the date, more info soon.
Finally, there is a new 5k run in Walsenburg. Join St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Walsenburg as they host the “St. Mary’s Loop the Lake 5K” an event for runners and walkers at Lathrop State Park – just west of Walsenburg. This is a fundraiser for repairs to St. Mary’s Church.
