Ramsgate 8 Prediction Run
4/7/2007 – 8K (4.97 miles)
Race #2 of the 2007 Prediction Series
As reported by Don Pfost
Because of rain the day before and a race-day forecast of cold and snow, the course was an all-asphalt out-and back starting on Ramsgate, heading south and east on Massari, north on Gamble and Troy, west onto the CSU-Pueblo campus, skirting its southern perimeter to Walking Stick Blvd, and then east on Uravan towards the arts complex and the turn-around near the top of the cul-de-sac. A convivial, tasty brunch followed the predict.
Runners predicted their own finishing time prior to the start of the race. They were not allowed to wear watches during the run. The runner finishing closest to his/her predicted time was the winner.
