Here are a few SCR Updates from our last club meeting
- Looks like the Ordinary Mortals reverse order Triathlon may be coming back in early May of 2027 back at CSU-Pueblo. Details to come.
- Sean McGivney is tentatively planning a “Backyard Ultra” where entrants run about a 4 mile loop and run as far as they want (or can). Possibly starting at the Nature Center in mid-November. Sounds like a great tune-up for Rock Canyon. Details soon.
- Nelson Brentlinger has changed the date for his Raffle Run from Sa, Dec 5, 2026 (which was the day before Rock Canyon) to 1 week earlier, Sat, Nov 28, 2026, the Sat after Thanksgiving.
- The Dehn Raffle Run Sat, Sept 5, will be at Ron’s home this year in Pueblo West. 469 E Skyline Dr, Pueblo West, CO 81007
- The Beulah Challenge (Sat, Sept 19, 2026) has canceled the half marathon this year but will still have the 10K and 5K. 20% of all proceeds to the recovery and restoration effort for Beulah after the Aspen Acres Fire. The club donated $500 to the Challenge and they in return have given us 3 free entries, which we will raffle off at the Runapalooza Raffle Run, Sat, Aug 15, 2026. If you don’t win the FREE entry, they have also offered a 20% discount for club members When you register just use the code PPRR26 and save 20%.

Dehn Squared Raffle Run
Date: Sat, Sep 5, 2026
Time: 8:00 a.m.
Location: 469 E Skyline Dr, Pueblo West, CO 81007
Distance: 1.5 miles and 3 miles
