Well spring was nice while it lasted but now comes the heat, hope you’re ready. Here are a few upcoming SCR events:
****Our next Raffle Run will be the…
Peaks & Prairies Raffle Run
Date: Sat, June 13, 2026
Time: 8:00 a.m.
Location: 4913 Warbler Ct, Pueblo
Distance: 5K and 2 mile walk/run
The SCR Peaks & Prairies Raffle Run, hosted by Robert Espinoza and Rebecca Simmons, will start at their north side home 4913 Warbler Court and run on dirt roads and trails near their home. Great views and nice course make this a very enjoyable run. Bring your chairs and plan to stay for a backyard potluck after the walk/run.

This years Breakfast Burrito Raffle Run and Picnic will be held…
Date: Sat, July 26, 2025
Time: 8:00 a.m.
Location: Pueblo Mountain Park, Beulah CO
Distance: 3M run and 2M run/walk
Host: Ted Sillox & SCR
The Summer Burrito Run will start at the stone building across from Horseshoe Lodge in Beulah for 2026 (same place as 2025). The 3M run or 2M run/walk will be held on the dirt roads inside the Beulah park. Following the run breakfast burritos will be served along with pastries, coffee, water and orange juice. Save the date but we will need to RSVP for this one as Ted needs to know how many burritos to order. Ted will send a separate email with more details and how to RSVP.
*****Join us for the 2nd annual Pueblo’s Firecracker 5K!
Start the 4th of July off with a fun 5K walk/run at Pueblo City Park.
This is a fun family and friends event!
*Prizes for the best Red, White, & Blue outfits!
*Finisher & Placing Medals!
*Swag bags full of fun!
*Music and race timing
*Kona Ice Truck and Travelin’ Tom’s Coffee truck
*$9 for Youth and $19 for Adults
