Our next Raffle Run will be…
“Choose Your Own Adventure Raffle & Potluck”
Sunday, May 4, 2025, 7:30 am
Hope to see you in one week, at Sean and Jitka McGivney’s University Park home , 1117 Candytuft Blvd, as they host the 4th annual “Choose Your Own Adventure” Raffle Run. This unique run will let you pick your own distance. All runners will do a 4 mile loop first and may stop or continue. If you choose, you may do an additional distance and will have a choice of a 1.5 or 2M loop, for a total of 4, 5.5, 6, or 7.5M (if you do both). There is also the option to Run/Walk a shorter distance and you may choose between 1.5 and 2 miles. You’ll get to run by the University and through neighborhoods that didn’t exist a few years ago. Potluck to follow.

- Location: 1117 Candytuft Blvd
- Distance: Run 4, 5.5, 6, or 7.5 miles—Walk/Run 1.5 or 2 miles
- Hosts: Sean and Jitka McGivney
- After the run/walk they invite everyone to stick around for a potluck.
—Newbie to 5K Training Clinic
Begins next Saturday, May 3, 2025, 8am, at Pueblo City Park but there is still time to register. The program is offered by SCR and SCR VP Paul Hindman. All abilities welcome. The first workout is running for 10 seconds and walking for 30 seconds, then each week the training will gradually increase until participants are ready to run the Pueblo Firecracker 5K on the 4th of July.
